FAQs
Can I take home my fish?
YES - KEEP ALL THE FISH , Captain Jim will cut up all fish and give you as many filets as you like.

What should I bring on the fishing charter?
A light jacket or sweatshirt is a good idea (it can get chilly with the trade winds at dawn and sunset), sunscreen, sunglasses, and food & drinks. Alcohol is allowed on the boat. (no glass containers). Take Dramamine or The patch behind your ear if necessary for seasickness 24 hours before the trip. Captain Jim provides all the fishing gear, tackle, ice, and cooler to store your food and drinks.

How many people can go?
6 people maximum for charters and boat tours.
All ages welcome but best if at least 8 years old for the trolling fishing charters.

What if I get really seasick?
If anyone in your party wants to go home we will go. We do go out in the open ocean and the swells can change and it can get rocky. If you're prone to motion sickness, we recommend you getting the patch for behind your ear or take Dramamine 24 hours before the trip.

Where do the charters leave from?
Charters leave from the Kewalo Basin Boat Harbor, Pier B, Slip B25 in Honolulu. The KRISTA is located on the third row of the Pier System. (Go past the Front Row near main road, Park in the parking lot to the left of front row next to bathrooms. Walk across from the bathroom after paying to park and then you'll see Pier A on right and Pier B on your left, if you see Pier C or D, you went to far. Don't drive to the back of the harbor where google maps will take you. You should only be 100 ft from the main road for parking and Pier B is just a bit more down the way from the Comfort Station.
